It’s a pleasure to stand before you today. Also, it’s a great honor to partake in this speech contest to tell you a little bit about my life and teaching experiences in China, specifically Huayuan.

    Before I begin my speech, I’d like to start off by quoting two important persons and their thoughts on education and dreams. First off, I’d like to tell you a quote from Walt Disney about dreams. He once said: "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.（如果我们敢于追逐梦想，那梦想一定会实现）"  Also, another significant quote is from Dr Seuss, who once said that “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.（你读的越多，你知道的就越多。你学的越多，你将会去更多的地方）” 

    2017年，我来到中国，现在已经在这里呆了7年。我来中国有两个梦想，一个是来学习，一个是来工作。2019年，一个朋友告诉我，花园有一所美丽的学校，然后我就来到了这座美丽的学校。我从高中部开始教书，教他们学习雅思和西方礼仪。有空，我也到小学部、初中部帮他们上英语课。我的梦想就在这里实现了！非常感谢！I really appreciate it!

    在花园，我交到了很多好朋友，他们非常热情。我们一起看电影、健身、踢足球。在这次花园运动会上，我们足球队拿到了第一名。Feel so good!

    2021年，郑建丽园长邀请我来到幼儿园。孩子们很可爱，我喜欢他们，也尊重他们。每个孩子都是特别的。他们有自己的想法，我喜欢听他们的想法，他们也喜欢上我的英语课。我用游戏和歌曲教他们学英语。下课了，他们还喜欢我抱他们。每次看到孩子们的笑脸，听到他们喊：“Eric，Eric，let me try，”我的心里甜甜的。

    在幼儿园，除了上英语课，我还是一名优秀的主持人，主持了幼儿园很多很多活动，有英语节、运动会、毕业典礼等等。我喜欢这样有意思的工作。

    我感谢邵总裁，我感谢郑建丽园长！加入花园，我是荣幸的，加入花园，我是幸运的，加入花园，我是幸福的！I love Huayuan, I love my job！让我们一起，不要放弃自己的梦想，不要放弃自己的目标！谢谢大家！谢谢朋友们！我爱你们！Thanks for the audience！
